Just only 20 mins drive from the old city of Chiang Mai to the south, you will find Thai cooking class like you never had before, at Pantawan Cooking School. In the peaceful environment outside the busy town, there’s house made by Thai classic teak wood with 12 fabulous wooden cooking stations, where you can enjoy your cooking class. Outside the house, about one acre area of wonderful garden and organic farm is waiting for you to explore various species of herbs and utilize them in your cooking. A variety of food options is offered in the popular menu that you would have ordered in the luxurious restaurants.

Things to know

How to use

  • You must book at least 24 hours prior to arrival
  • You can present either a printed or a mobile voucher to enter to the attraction directly
  • The person who books and receives the confirmation voucher must present a valid photo ID/passport along with the voucher number
  • The voucher is valid only on specified date and time of the tour

  • Tour operation everyday
  • Morning session is 09:00 am - 14.00 pm
  • Afternoon session is 16:00 am - 20.30 pm
  • Menu items subject to change without prior notice
  • Vegetarian dishes are available upon request. If you have any special requirements or allergies please let us know when you book
  • Please note that walking in the wet market can be a little bit wet and muddy! Please wear any closed-toe/heel shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty
  • Please plan to meet your tour guide at your hotel lobby at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled pick-up time.
  • Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after we have moved from your hotel, you may be considered a no-shows.

Transfer Service

  • Transfer service operates according to pre-assigned and route only, please let us know your hotels name during your booking process and we will send you e-mail to arrange pick up time with you.
  • Extra charge will be applied for transfer in some Chiang Mai area. (To be advised)


  • Children age over 7 years will be charged as the adult price
  • Children age between 4-12 years and visitors who are not participating in the cooking class and enter to watch the class will be charged
